Miss lorraine moore (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, April 2013): we enjoyed our stay and everyone was nice, polite and helpful-nothing special but definately you get what you pay for
Mr Thomas Horan (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, October 2012): A great experience. All the staff were very nice and helpful, and did their jobs efficiency. The room was clean, and it was very convenient to be based on campus. The price was great. The breakfast was excellent and filling; plenty to keep us going for the day. I would recommend this without hesitation.
Mr Martin Osborn (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, September 2012): Really helpful staff.
Mrs Pamela Bogue (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, September 2012): We enjoyed our brief stay on your lovely campus very much. Breakfast was awesome. Staff answered our questions and recommended the Imperial for supper, which we liked very much too. Thanks! Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to others.
Mr P Rapley (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2012): A great place to stay
Miss Rosemary Lewis (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, August 2012): I was so impressed with everything, I've been recommending your B&B facility to everyone! Here's what was brilliant: Clipper organic/Fairtrade teas - including green tea!- in the rooms. The presentation and choice of breakfast, again, especially appreciated the Clipper teas, organic yoghurt and the fact you provide soya milk, thank you! The staff I encountered were all incredibly helpful and friendly and I'm especially grateful to the reception staff who let me leave my heavy rucksack for the day when I checked out as I wasn't leaving Exeter until the afternoon and didn;t want to be carrying it around with me all day. The grounds were an added bonus, what a stunning campus and the clear commitment to nature and environmental thinking was impressive. The only thing that wasn't brilliant (but was fine nonetheless) was the shower facilities, not good water pressure and nowhere to put clothes. Thank you for a great stay!
Mr Robin Hutchinson (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2012): We didn't have breakfast so won't judge that. We enjoyed our stay, and will return when next in Exeter! View from our room was breathtaking. We appreciated the easy access to wifi, which we did not have when we stayed in another hall at Exeter (Pennsylvania I Think.)
Mrs Elaine Slater (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, July 2012): Very enjoyable stay, will certainly do this again
Mrs Melanie Coward (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, July 2012): Exceptionally clean room, one of the best beds we have slept in (very firm mattress)!A good breakfast and easy parking. Thank you.
Mrs Jane Spooner (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, July 2012): I had in all booked a double room (14-15 July) and 3 singles (15 July) for family attending my son's graduation.
The only thing I would have liked better was for the cooked breakfast to have opened at 7.30 am on 16 July as my son had to be in the Great Hall by 8.30 am for the 9 am graduation.
In all other respects we had a really good time. As my son had been in Mardon in his first year, we enjoyed the experience of a staying in his hall of residence. It was a delightful coincidence as well that the double room we had had been his room!
Mrs Jane Spooner (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, July 2012): The only thing I would have liked better is for the cooked breakfast to have opened at 7.30 am on the day of the graduation (16 July) as our son had the 9 am gradaution slot and we had to rush though the breakfast to get to the Grat Hall by 8.30 am.
We appreciated that the car parking was right in front of Mardon Hall, and that the staff opened up the library room in Mardon for us on Sunday afternoon (15 July) as it was a nice place for our family members to meet up that afternoon.
Mr robin hutchinson (Pennsylvania Court, University of Exeter, July 2012): We enjoyed staying there and we'll be back! Thanks!
Mrs Pamela Ive (Pennsylvania Court, University of Exeter, July 2012): It was a very helpful base from which to operate from having meetings throughout the week. The staff who i met both at Reception and servicing the rooms were very helpful.
Mrs Carole Hodson (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, June 2012): would not hesitate to visit again.
Miss Charlene Wong (St Luke's Hall, University of Exeter, May 2012): It was fantastic, clean and I'd stay again!

Mr Christopher Mcavoy (St Luke's Hall, University of Exeter, October 2011): Enjoyed our stay and will deffinately book again.
Mrs Sue Winton (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, October 2011): Very comfortable great being on the campus
Mr Alan Willson (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, September 2011): This was a return visit as we found that staying at the Uni two years ago was easy and good value for money.
Ms Inga Oberbeil (St Luke's Hall, University of Exeter, September 2011): A cheap and nice accomodation with friendly atmosphere. Clean rooms.
Mrs Doris Fone (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, September 2011): Nice cosy room with en-suite facilities and balcony within the Holland Building! Wondeful setting overlooking Exeter and the Devon countryside! Free Parking was a bonus and it was a 15 minute walk to the Centre of Exeter - walking back requires a certain amount of fitness as it was uohill for some of the way! However, there was a bus service almost to the front door! Breakfast was plentyful! Room had a fridge which was very handy and there was also internet access via a cable within the room or wifi within the (closed) student bar and social space. We didn't find the television (upstairs in the student bar) until the final day! Never mind! We would certainly stay there again!
Mrs Susan Frost (Pennsylvania Court, University of Exeter, September 2011): loved the grounds and area
Mrs Marie Tabor (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2011): a very pleasant stay
Mr Trevor Jones (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2011): I would be pleased to visit Holland Hall again.
Mrs Maralyn McIver (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2011): On arrival are room was excellent but overlooked a bank, we were able to change the room to one with a view which was not as clean as the first but the view was wonderful. We were not given a pack with local information i.e. bus timetables or info about the campus in general, this would have been handy as we did not know Exeter very well. We were able to get the information from the porters office after badgering them a little. We enjoyed our stay at the campus and would use it again.
Mr Victor Candlish (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, July 2011): Very helpful staff. A great location for touring Exeter and the surrounding region. I will happily recommend Holland Hall to friends and family and the use of the Travel Booking Network website to make reservations - it was a very easy system to use and very professional. Thank you.
Mrs Carole Hodson (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, July 2011): Was sorry this just one overnight en route to Cornwall. Lovely location and accommodation and the breakfast rivalled that at good hotel. would certainly return.
Mrs Catherine Hill (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, April 2011): I found the room very easy to book. The directions given were very clear as was the arrival information. I would consider an en suite room in the future due to lack of privacy in the shared bathrooms. The breakfast was amazing. All in all, the value for money was brilliant.
JHS MYNOTT (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, September 2010): We will book en-suite if possible in future
Victor Candlish (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, September 2010): The entire experience was superb. The staff at Exeter University who handled all aspects of my booking and my stay were highly supportive and very friendly. The booking procedure was straightforward and reliable. Excellent service all round.
Mrs. Avril Stapleton (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, September 2010): No faults at all - perfect location, stunning views, really good breakfast choice, and free parking.
Thank you for an enjoyable stay
Mrs Victoria Bowyer (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, September 2010): Very good value accommodation - comfortable beds. Students are very lucky to have rooms as well fitted as these!
Sylvie Howse (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, September 2010): We were pleased with the room and the breakfast, which was varied and well-organised. The dining room was very spacious and had a lovely view.
As the campus is extensive, it would be a good idea if visitors were given a very detailed map in advance.
Unfortunately, the university itself got the wrong date for the booking - Saturday 6th. However, the receptionist kindly managed to find a room. I also had your email notification to hand.
Helen Best (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, August 2010): Please could you find a way to keep cooked breakfasts hot. Apart from that I was very satisfied. Streets ahead of YHA Exeter except for that one thing which they were much better at.
Frances Daniels (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2010): This was a great way to view the university with my son as we come from quite a distance and the campus tour would have been difficult to do in a day. It also gave us the chance to sample the student accomodation at first hand.
Maureen Bennett (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2010): Excellent value for money. Campus was very attractive with beautiful trees and superb views. Only problem was getting luggage to our room as we had to carry it up two flights of stairs.
Karen Senior (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2010): An excellent way to stop over night, at a very acceptable price. We did have initial problems with internet access - eventually the porter came to the room and it was a phone line fault he was able to rectify.
Would certainly recommend this to friends.
Nadezda Majercikova (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2010): We just stay for a one night and what we liked the most is the area around, beautiful view and an amazing scenery. The room was small but clean. Surprisingly, the reception is situated on the 4th floor, it was a bit labyrinth for us..but anyway, we enjoyed to stay.
Miss C L Howard (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2010): Everything was brilliant and will definately stay again.
